The Aperture I used for this photo the shutter was increased so I can get a good picture of the foot print pattern in the snow. This way it was bright enough to see while the background was blurry. So you can focus on the main point.

While decreasing the fstop the photo comes out more brighter and clear and the shutter speed increases. But when you increase the fstop the photo comes out dark and blurry and the shutter speed decreases. Making it impossible for light to pass through hence why it is dark, and vice versa.
